I am very excited to be starting this as many of you have suggested and encouraged. If you don't know me I am a single mother of 3 beautiful children and have struggled for YEARS to just provide the necessities for my children. After a friend of mine suggested I taking a coupon class that Becky @ Nickels-n-dimes.com was offering I said hey why not can't lose anything... I left there and immediately saved over $65 at the grocery store (the same day!) I was amazed that it could actually be done. In the class it was said it could take months before you could actually stockpile and see the savings....me not so much it took me weeks! I was excited and got started right away.
The purpose of this blog is to share the savings that I am obtaining and pass them on to you! Over the last 3 weeks alone I have saved over $1400 and spent less than $150. If I can do it ANYBODY can! It's not hard and doesn't take rocket science to do it! I have a budget that I try to stick to the best I can and so far I have came well below the budget. My budget is just $100 a week (family of 4 x $25 a piece). This includes eating out, groceries, health & beauty items, cleaning supplies, coupons (I buy some on Ebay), and cost of newspapers.
